I'm a diehard Yankee fan(my cousin played for them). I would never root for the Mets. I rooted for Boston in 1986. I rather stop watching baseball then root for the Mets.
a yankee fan rooting for the sox.. very bad.

You're being waaaay too tough on me! hehe
I rooted for the Yankees in 96... then they started getting greedy. I could not approve of being greedy as a upright gentleman.
that's me.. an upright gentleman.
I'll expect your heart-felt apology shortly. Thank you in advance.
You, and upright gentleman? Who knew?? (J/K..)
OK, I will apologize for the fact that ONE TIME you rightfully rooted for the Yankees .. Wow! And you'll be happy to know that ONE TIME I rooted for the Mets .. but that was waaaay back in '86 when they were playing the RedSox in the WS. It was a horrible series to have to pick a team to root for, tho
kinda like a yanks/braves thing for me..
who knew.. the bravos used to be so harmless when I was a kid.. who knew they would last this long.. so I give them credit.
that tomahawk chop drives me bonkers!

OMG I actually am going to agree with OctGroom!! (shocking !!)
While I totally admire your loyalty, OscartheGroom , as a fellow diehard Yankee fan even I couldn't root for the Mets vs. Boston in '86! Boston is THE #1 TEAM (followed by the Mets) that I loathe. Those Boston fans are the WORST!

I'm a Met fan through and through. I even have the Saturday ticket plan!
I never root for the Yankees.
My husband, however, is a huge Yankee fan. Makes for some interesting moments in our house.
Love the poll choices!
