Who's your photographer?

I've seen a few photographers and there are a few you could cross right off the bat. There's the high scale (more of the photojournalistic style) and there's the affordable scale.

Cross these off:

Affordable:
Majestic Bridal Center
Sherwood
Patken
Actually most Queens/Brooklyn studios

There is a huge difference in these types of studios. I would recommend seeing most of them. However I wouldn't expect much of a break at the top studios to fit your budget. You will see a difference in the styles between these studios.
I personally would not be so budget conscience with your photography/video...these are two of the most important things to consider.
I was actually at a friends wedding, where she was tight on the pics and the video. But she had this incredible looking cake at her wedding, tiers everywhere....I believe it cost her about $1,000 for this cake. The cake cost more than her photogrpahy...and I couldn't undersand that for the life of me....the cake is just for show and half the time the guest don't eat it. The photos are a life time of memories. LOL....didn't mean to go on and on. Enjoy in the search and if you have any questions, please ask.

they are great. They'll work with you and your budget

jillmaxim- gray studios was nice(my sister used them and people love her pics) except they wanted to charge me $5000 for photo and Patken only charged $2600(almost half)

Wow....then cross them off the other list. Guess they raised their prices
