We're using Verdi too...we LOVED our engagement photos - I posted them a while back if you want to look.
Ditto that they have been so great to work with, love their photojournalistic style and you get 2 photographers for 10 hours.

I am using B rett M atthews but they are pricey. My sister used Northshore Photography in Woodbury & they were great...also in your price range.
