FH and I both got very sick today, so I already know FH isn't going to work tomorrow. I'm really glad. That way he doens't have to take the long walk to the train station in this weather, and hopefully we'll be feeling well enough by tomorrow to enjoy the extra day together and get some snuggling in by the xmas tree.

I agree with you! LOL! However, I highly doubt my school will close. I will be happy for a delayed opening though

I spent an hour under the Jeep today making sure everything was in tip top shape for the first 'incliment weather' of the season.
Felicia kept yelling out the door to me 'your birthday cake is on the table!!!'

Its snowing in Westchester already We just got home, the cars have a light coating
i like snow only when I can STAY home and not bother trying to commute in it I walk about 12 blocks to/from GCT and its not the funnest thing when its cold and dreary!

Awwww....I spent some time tonight asking DH to please fix my dam wiper blades. They are squeaking like nails on a chalkboard Hes off 2morrow, so im thinking of switching cars for the day!

UGGG..we live ina basement..to get to our apt you have to go down a long concrete staircase. We have no ice melt. with how cold it's gonne get I think we're gonna be stuck down here with the way the stairs will be iced. I kept TELLING FH to get ice melt, but did he LISTEN?

Not looking forward to snow. My job is 35 miles away and won't pay you if you call out on a snow day, even if your sick! Therefore the commute is h e l l 4 hours to get home one day last year!

OMG I went to go post and a different screen popped up about the Ecolin contest... my heart stopped for a second!!
Anyway, what is the current snow status... everyone keeps telling me it is only going to be rain...
I want a snow day!!! There is nothing more exciting than a snow day... i feel bad for children in states where there is no snow... can you imagine a childhood minus snowdays?? Those mornings when extra bright light was coming through the window and you peeked outside and the whole world was coated with white, then you turned on News12 to watch the scrolling screen and saw your school!! How exciting was that? (i'm a dork, i know)

I went to school in NYC and when i was in HS we ahd the first 2 snow days in 25 years...so I didn't get that snow day feeling

We live in a basement too, so i know how you feel. Danielle just told me that cat litter works just like ice melt.
Its not like we are getting a lot of snow. We are only getting 1 to 2 inches in nassau county. My commute at 5:30am is going to stink though. Scott

I'm disappointed. We are supposed to go to the photographer tomorrow to give him the selections for the album. I know we can probably go again in a few weeks but I was looking forward to having it done.

OMG...You just brought back some good memories! Then we'd spend the day sleigh riding and freezing our butts off and going home for some hot chocolate hours later! I still turn News12 on and pray my school is on the screen. If they know ahead of time, my supervisor calls the night before or really early in the AM.

we don;t have kitty litter....i'm not worried about a lot of snow, but sometimes less snow is worse when it comes to ice. Anyone know any other home ice melts?
