Whose wedding is it anyway?

Ok so this is a multi-answer question.

1) Who is doing the majority of the wedding planning?

2) Does FH have equal share in the planning?

3) Does friends and family input matter?

4) Are you planning on hiring an event planner at any point in the wedding process?

1) Me

2) Not equal share, as I'm pretty much doing all of the planning, but equal 'say' definitely; I would never sign a contract without first consulting him and having him meet the vendor.

3) Input is appreciated, as I always love suggestions but the decisions made are ultimately mine and FH's.

4) I've already got the best...ME

Me & FH are doing the majority of the wedding planning. My MOH really wants to help plan alot. He definatly has equal share in the planning. Family input matters (mostly just our parents though). Idon't we'll be hiring a wedding planner- I think its an unnecessary cost.

1) I'm doing the majority of the planning but my mom is my ace. She's there at the start of all my creations. We refer to this as 'our' wedding! lol

2) FH is definitely involved but mostly just to run my ideas across to. He also goes to all show cases and meetings.

3) It's taken into consideration but my vision is pretty much on target.

4) I'm having a DOC to set up, make sure things run smoothly, and keep any problems that may arrive away from me until AFTER the wedding

1) Me, Myself & I

2) NO!!!!!!!! I listen to his opinion but it doesn't matter....haha!

3) Nope, its my day!

4) Fox Hollows has PWP which is a big help but other than that, no.

My FH and I do the majority of the planning together. I come up with the ideas and places and vendors to see, and then we decide which ones we both like best.

FH has equal share in the final decision but all of the wedding planning related ideas come from me. He is picking out the limo on his own I 'gave' that to him.

My mom's input is crucial she is good with the decorating.

We are hiring a DOC but not a wedding planner. I'd rather do all the planning myself.

1. Me

2. Not really. Got his input on some things (DJ, Photo) the rest is all me (he said he will go with whatever)

3. Not really. Mom and grandma had say in my dress, the rest is what we decide really.

4. Nope, I am in the works of becoming an event planner, and want to do my wedding myself

1. Me

2. He helps but I come up with most of the ideas

3. I ask my family for advice and what they think.

4. I cant afford a planner but might do a DOC if I have the money lol

1. FH and I are doing all the planning. We are paying for it ourselves so we are makiing all the decisions ourselves. I'm probably doing more now tho looking at the flowers and dresses, but i show him all the ideas i have and he pretty much agrees with them
2. see above.
3.This is a hard question! i would say that it maters some what, but really it comes down to what my FH and i want. our families and friends had or will have the chance for their weddings to be they way they want and we are going to do ours the way we want
4. no planner.

1. Me. I come up with all the ideas for the wedding and find all the vendors we go to meet wtih .

2. He has equal share of the final decisions and goes to all the vendor meeting with me, but he doesnt actually come up with ideas.

3. Family input matters to some extent (im open to hearing ideas, but wont necessarily take them all) and friends input hardly matters at all except for my moh (best friend for YEARS)

4. We're planning on hiring a DOC but not a wedding planner.

1. Mostly me but FH is really getting into it lately

2. His opinion matters to me ALOT

3. No the input doesnt matter bc we are paying for everything ourselves so they have no say about what/where/how we do things

4. Maybe, only if I get too overwhelmed and budget allows it
