Why!!!???

I just got my hair trimmed and the girl that cut it did not listen to me....I feel like every time I get my hair cut they ask me what I want then they just do their own thing!!!

I wanted a trim...I told her I was trying to grow my hair out and she cut off so much!!!! Ugh!!! I am so mad!!!!

Thats aweful my old hair dresssser used to do that all the time, thats y i got rid of her. Y ask, if you are not goin to do it,

I know...it just feels so much shorter and she cut little layers into it which I didn't ask for. I have the EASIEST hair to cut....it is all one length except I have little angles on the sides.....how hard is it to cut off half an inch!!!!????

I need a better hair dresser!!! Any recommendations out in in Suffolk???? Someone who listens!!

You girls are the best....I was complaining to FH and he doesn't 'see' what I am talking about...he thinks it looks fine....but you know your hair!!!

I live in Ronkonkoma....but I am willing to travel...I can't deal. FH has camera ladies so I cant post pics....it really isn't that short but I have been trying to grow my hair out for the wedding and it was almost to my bra strap and now it is just under my shoulders!!!!

idk where you live, but i have always had long hair and that has happened to me a MILLION times. oh the amount of tears i've shed in hair salon parking lots...

anyway, my hairdresser, david, is at cactus south in east islip. and he's the ONLY person i've been able to relax with (and not worry about someone getting scissor-happy on me). i've gone to him for years, and every friend i send to him raves.

Christopher in Middle Island is great..he works at Diamond Cuts on Middle Country Road. So funny and very talented.

Also Val who works out of her salon in her home lives in East northport and she is wonderful as well...

Those are my two favorites!

THANK YOU!!! I am going to check them out in like a month to cut out the little layers.....stupid hair dressers!!! I want to try a man.....I feel like they really want you to look good and there is no ego thing going on there. Thanks again!!!!!

next time tell them you want her to cut your dry.. and that you only want a trim.. usually if they cut it dry they dont take a lot off... key word: usually...

Oh I just noticed you live in Ronkonkoma! My hairdresser lives there too she works out of her house I can give you her number, she totally listens to what you want.

That always happens to me. I feel like I am speaking to another lanugage to them when i say ends only. I wait to the very last minute before I cut my ends because of that.

I get my hair done by two different people.. I had gone once to get my hair done and THEY DID WAHT THEY WANTED. I almost died...
Now, I use FH's sil (she used to work for Pilo) and Lisa at Sebastions in Brooklyn. If youwant their numbers lt me know. Their great.

ohhh no! that b*tch! taht just happend to me too! i said a trim and she was like well i reccomend 3in. i was like are you NUTS!! i get my hair trimmed every few months to keep it healthy. anyway she tookoff 2in!
