Is the date supposed to be like that? Is it supposed to be spelled out? Why am I an idiot all of a sudden?

Sunday, the twelfth of November, two-thousand six. Is that how you do it? How do you spell 'twelfth?' I should have picked an easier spelled day to get married!

Do I just end it like that?

Is something missing?

the date should be spelled out.

you might want to put the street address of the church.

Also, I put my FH's last name so it was less confusing.....my cousin had just her FH's first and middle and people wrote checks out to his 'middle name' as the last name.

i.e. people might write checks to Mr and Mrs Michael.

esp if his Mom is remarried...people MIGHT get confused with the last name.

date is spelled out. ie:

Sunday, the sixth of August two thousand six
eleven o'clock in the morning

I would say quarter to one in the afternoon. I believe this is more formal.

Yeah... I purposely avoided doing that so that people didn't mistake it for 1:15!

yes....and the last name thing....and spell out the date..
