Why am I feeling bummed about this???

Found out today that two friends are PG and I am sooo HAPPY for them!

We are not yet ready to have kids but part of me is sad/jealous. I feel like it was back in the day when all my friends were getting engaged and I wasn't yet...I know this is so SILLY...We are so happy and I couldn't ask for anything more right now but can't help feeling how I am feeling...anyone else ever feel like this???

if it helps, i think it is completely natural to think that becuase it means they are having a life changing event. It is really hard, because you know intellectually that it is not the right time, but emotionally that is a different story. to you.

it's COMPLETELY natural. the past month i found out 2 of my friends are preg and just today another one! and yes, i fell into the 'darn! wish i was preg also' state. give it another couple of days and we'll be fine. unless you get news of another preg friend tomorrow.

I feel the same way when I hear about my friends/relatives who are prego. It's a completely natural feeling...you want a baby and it hasn't happened yet...totally normal but when the time is right you will be blessed with a beautiful bundle of joy!

on a side note.... is 2006 the year of the baby or what?! it seems like the whole world is preggo I know so many women who are either pregnant or just gave birth.

Yes, everyone is getting pregnant lately...love is in the air!

If it helps at all, my closest college friends did everything before me...got engaged, married...and i always felt 'behind' because those things hadn't happened yet for me. I was jealous that they seemed happy and things were really happening..however i think its true that good things come to those who wait b/c I met the greatest guy and when it finally happened I saw that all else around me wasn't as perfect as it seemed.

When you're ready for a baby it'll be the perfect time and perfect for you! Your feelings are natural though...I can definitely undestand :)
