Why am I such an idiot? I ordered from House of Brides. Please give me some advice.

OK, ladies..... I was stupid & ordered my bm gowns from House of Brides.com in Feb. for my July wedding and I haven't heard anything about them since. I've called & no returned phone calls. I've emailed them & no response yet. I'm starting to freak out. I'm getting married in 55 days!!!!! What the heck am I going to do if they don't arrive on time?

Waterspout totally scared the hell outta me! I hope our dresses make it in before our weddings!!
I just feel so bad for my bridesmaids that have been stuck on hold for countless hours to finally try to leave a V.M. and be told the box is full and ...click!

Oh boy! I don't mean to scare the hell out of you. Just don't sit back and think it's going to be all right. You girls have time before your wedding.

And trust me, filing with the BBB didn't help me before the wedding. Maybe I didn't file fast enough. I even told them I was going to do a news story on them (because I work in the news) and they didn't seem to care.

The fact that my dresses were shipped while I was on my honeymoon was the final slap in the face. I'm usually a calm person.

They can be awful, I ordered a dress through there, back then the phone line just went straight to a recorded message saying to email them- you couldn't leave messages. I received the dress, although it took about 2 weeks to get a response to my email.

I did call them. I called them 7 times already!!!!!!! I leave message after message & they just don't repsond. I'm seriously starting to freak out!

Write them a letter and keep a photocopy and possibly send them registered mail so you have proof of correspondence. That way if there is a problem later on you can prove you attempted to contact them.
