Why are companies such big JERKS
I didnt want to post because I was hoping for good news, but now the company can go f themselves. Well the CEO can.
Friday I went for an interview with Sterling Testing. It went very well. I was there for 2 hours. I left and it felt very very promising. I was told I would get a call on Monday and I did.
I had gone out and Joe (who is the VP) called me. He left a message that the CEO wants to meet with me on Tuesday. I called him 2 times on Monday and he didnt give me a call back. I called him on Tuesday morning and he said so far the CEO was really busy and he would call me if the CEO had some time, but he didnt want me to sit by the phone so he asked for my beeper number so I could go out.
Well at 12:30 he beeps me that Bill the CEO wants to see me and that he has time at 2pm. So I rush taking a shower and getting dressed and because it was 1pm FI and I feared I would never make it by 2 so Brian (who is so wonderful) drove me to the interview in the city. I got their at 1:45.
So I get upstairs and tell the receptionist that I am here. Well the CEO kept me waiting till 2:15. Then he didnt even appologize for keeping me waiting, did not even acknowledge the fact it was short notice and basically was a rude jerk.
We go into his office, and his phone would not stop ringing. He must have taken about 4 phone calls in front of me. He then asks me 2 questions, and asks if I have any questions. I asked him 1 question and he gave me a 1 word answer. I am not kidding. ONE WORD. Then he says ok have a nice day.
That was it. HE DIDNT EVEN WALK ME OUT. I HAD TO LET MYSELF OUT!!!!
