why are my hair and hands and legs so dry?

Maybe age? Summertime? I've never had a dry skin problem but over the past week my hands feel horribly dry, as my legs and hair. The weird thing is I've been drinking tons of water. Maybe cut down on salty processed stuff? Any other recommendations? I'd rather do something from the inside out than put creamy stuff all over me because then I feel suffocated and hot.

Have you cut out too much fat from your diet? that happened to a friend of mien in HS, when she went as close to fat free as she could get for months.
You need good fats like from olive oil & nuts.

I could also be the sun, if you are outside a lot.

could be no sun...but i'm not going out today to get sun..too hot! lol

i don't take hot showers, i get too overheated!

I have really dry skin and I use a little baby oil in the shower and it's worked wonders.
