i just want to know why is it that when you tell someone 'im getting married' they say 'dont do it!''i just got divorced' 'are you crazy?' ect. ummm for example the guy at the paint store, the man across the stress, teachers i work with and other random people that sing my bling bling. ummm first off my parents have been married for over 25 years and FH's parents have been married for over 30 years ... i love FH and we have both promised to never use the 'd' word. we love eachother and are willing to work thru anything. if i went into marriage with divorce on my mind i wouldnt be getting married! people need to keep their lives and problems to themselves!!!

i also think i get this alot because i look young. they think im like throwing my life away or something haha ... i graduated from college and have a great job teaching ... i have a life i promise haha

I'm young too- 23 but look like I'm 18 lol. I do get dumb crap from stupid guys trying to pick me up sometimes. 'You're too young to get married, you should enjoy life first'. Yea, ok- that's not gonna happen with you ***!

What's wrong with ppl nowadays ? I get it all the time. I hate it so much that every time I hear them sayin' it ......I just rolled my eyes & walk the other way.

Ugh, I even get that from my family. My nana constantly says engagements are meant to be broken, and my mom is always saying you know, you're not married yet, you can still back out. I won't even touch my coworkers. I've had it with people!

seriously??? did i ask you?? i've gotten comments like that before and honestly, they have only come from ppl in unhappy or failed marriages (in my case) its just their bitterness coming through - pay no mind!!!!!
