Just curious 'cus I know lotsa people have different reasons for planning a wedding and not just eloping or having a simple celebratory dinner with family.

None of the above. We are doing it because we want to. We want to have a great time at our wedding with our friends and family. Before we got engaged I had mentioned having a small wedding to save money but FH said that he knew I would regret it later and he always want to have a big wedding. We have having the wedding of our dreams because we want to.

honestly i want my family/friends to just enjoy oen of the most special days in my life...
i was plannin on doing something quick when the prices overwhelmed me...but i decided that i justcant settle for anything less than my dream wedding.

I was all for eloping but i know it's is important to FH to have his family there and since I am an only child there is no way I could get away with eloping...

I am freaking out about expenses and still looking for a place. But we are having the BIG wedding because we want to. At the end of the day it will all work out and we will be able to share our precious day with the family and friends that mean the most to us. I'm an 08'er so i have plenty of time!! TG
