The funny thing is that they are all expensive for what I like. I guess I just did not know that flowers could be this expensive and I have a large bridal party so that is why.....GRRRRRRR

I had the same problem. Go to Verbena Designs. She was great to work with and she came within my budget without me having to compromise too much.

Can you FM prices of what you got and do you have a large bridal party. Just asking because I do and just want to know what prices are looking like before I take that drive out there. Im out east in suffolk I want to make sure it is worth it.

That's who I used. They don't charge by flower....they charge by volume. They were great to work with and reasonably priced.

I am using Pedestals and am so far very pleased with their pricing. They are very accomidable and do beautiful work!!

well, high cost could be due to what flowers you want, how many, or a combo of both factors...
average / inexpensive prices are roughly: $125/ bride bo-k $75 / BM bo-k $50 /low centerpiece $100 / high centerpiece $15 / pew decoration
If you total up what you need with these prices, and then tack on extra for the boutenieres / corsages, you get a good low-ball estimate for the flowers you need.... if it's way over this, it likely is due to the type of flowers you selected....

I went to see most of the most popular florists that are mentioned over and over on LIW.
I got the best deal and service from Designs by Rose - by far. I was down to deciding between them and Verbena, but Designs by Rose gave us a better price for MORE flowers.
Flowers by Burton was actually our most expensive quote! I was absolutely shocked, but they were over $1000 more than Designs by Rose for LESS flowers.
I would give Designs by Rose a call. They are the sweetest and do some great work. Tell them Yesenia referred you - 718-848-7511. www.designsbyroseinc.com

This is approx. what I'm paying for beautiful flowers from With All My Heart. They are located at East Wind and are very nice. They give a small discount if you mention LIWeddings!

Did you try M n F florist in E Islip? I am using them and love them and am getting all BP flowers, all bo-k's, boots, corsage's and FG baskets, petals for under $1K
