Why can't lillettes give a straight answer!!!!

I just called to find out what the cap for alterations are, and how much bustling usually goes for.....i gor the answer for the first question but it took 3 freiken people to give me even just a ballpark answer about the bustling!

I mean seriously I told the woman I'm choosing between you and another store and the cost of bustling is a factor for me!

They wonder why they have a bad reputation!!!!

So LILLETTES BRIDES!!!! Please tell me how much your bustles were!!!! THANKS!

when i get home i can try to look for my alterations receipt. i had a really great experience with lillettes. ask for laura!

The total of mine was 282. They had to redo the beadwork on the dress b/c I lost weight.

i don't remember how much my bustle was, but it was a very intricate one ... with about 14 ribbon ties.

maybe the reason they couldn't give you a price for the bustling is that it depends on the style of bustle you want. there is a big difference in the amount of work involved between a simple 1 point buslte and some of the more complicated bustles, i am sure that the price varies.

Most bustles are charge per poin-which is per hook, per button per ribbon-whichever way your dress gets bustled.

Mine was 160-16 points at $10 each.
That is give or take the average-10-13 per point.

Alterations there should be cap and that doesnt have anything to do with your dress or how much is taken in or out-its a cap...mine was 280

I ordered there in April and they told me over the phone the dress alterations cap was $295 and the bustle would be capped depending on the style I wanted. When I ordered the alterations cap was written as the same on my bill, the bustle (I decided I wanted a French) would be 15 per button or 20 per set of ribbons -

I'm so glad so many Lillette's brides answered due the wonderful repuation I've heard and experienced with them.

alterations cap is 295, which i didnt hit, and bustle cap --- i dont know? i didnt hit that either. my bustle was much much less than i expected.

I've had BMs come in under the $70 cap as well. i was impressed that they wouldn't automatically make everyone hit the cap...
