OK SO EVERY decision I HAVE MADE WHEN IT HAS COME TO THE WEDDING I CALL ALL THE VENDORS I HAVE PICK OUT EVERY VENDOR I HAVE PICK OUT THE FAVORS THE COLOR FOR THE WEDDING THE HM I COULD KEEP GOING
SO 3 MONTH AGO I TELL MY FH MAKE SURE THAT YOU MAKE AN APT. FOR ALL THE GM TO GET THEIR TUX AND MAKE SURE YOU TOUCH BASE WITH THE JUDGE THAT'S GOING TO MARRY US SINCE THE FIRST TIME WE MEET WITH HIM WAS IN NOV. AND IT ALSO WAS THE LAST
IT IS MARCH AND DO YOU THINK HE HAS EVEN PICK UP THE PHONE TO CALL HIS GM ABOUT THE TUX AND DO YOU THINK HE EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT THE JUDGE, NO HE HAS NOT
WHY, WHY IS IT THAT I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING, I MEAN I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD THINK HE WOULD GIVE ME A SMALL BRAKE I GUESS IM GOING TO HAVE TO DO THEM MYSELF, BECAUSE IM TIRED OF TELLING HIM TO DO THEM

I am sorry that your Fh is not helping out. Sometimes I think it is just easier to do everything myself.

sorry to hear about FH... maybe you need to tell him that the wedding is about the two of you, not just the bride... maybe that will help?

I have come to the realization that asking my FH will take more time and frustration than doing it my self. I believe they act this way b/c they think planning a wedding is not that hard and especially when the date is far away they do not see the urgency.
Trust me, I know what you are going through!

sorry to hear that FH is not involved at all... did you try making sticky notes reminding him? or text him-- give him a deadline! unfortunately, this is more work!!!

well its true what the say if you want something done right you have to do yourself!. Im in same boat. FH says its my day. he just wants me to be happy... which is fine i just need help!!

im sorry youre going through this. He needs to realize and understand that this isnt YOUR wedding its the marriage of TWO people and that means his help and input is required.

I hear ya....actually we just had this conversation this morning... I thought he would be more involved...he was so psyched when we booked our reception & everything else he is like whatever... but if I do something then he complains about $$...I am just going to do it and if he has a problem ohhh welllll he should have been more involved but nagging and reminding is making me CRAZZZZZY!

I hear ya. Mine wanted to book all the vendors except for the florist which he didnt care about. But all the odds and ends im doing myself. Now he is finally getting bored with it, so i tell him to go clean his car or something to keep him occupied while i go Shopping.
