FH just told me that I am too sensitive over wedding related things and that I am putting too much focus and energy into planning the wedding. I shouldn't care as much about each detail.
This is after he shot down two really good ideas I had telling me they were ridiculous and me deciding not to speak to him for hours after that.
I told him he was an a s s
He tried to cover it up by saying that he is afraid something will go wrong day of and I will be so upset and miserable. BS.

Aww im sorry but really they dont all understand the importance like we do that goes into planning. Believe me im sure he will be appreciative when the day comes and he realizes all the hard work and DETAIL you put in has payed off!!
they don't care about these things as much I guess...

Because they really don't understand. When I went dress shopping on Sun I said on Sat night certain people better not be late. At which he replied it really doesn't matter you are being overdramatic. At that point I yelled stop telling me things really don't matter because they do and they are important to me. The next day he apologized bc I was fuming. This isn't unimportant this is our wedding and even though I am generally calm when I get upset over something support me. MEN.

They are stupid........that's why they say stupid things. My FH is the same way. I've come to the conclusion that he is absolutely USELESS over the details.....he's good for big things and tasks when they're spelled out for him, but details? No way. I'm on my own.
I learned this when I asked him to help me pick out favors, and he decided he wanted to give everyone a 'Grow your own 1-up mushroom.' Yup you read that right..........he wants a freaking incredible hulk ice sculpture and 1-up mushroom favors
ETA: I need to add a sense of logic though......most of the guys don't actually care about the wedding. If it were up to my FH, our wedding would be in our backyard, catered by Quiznos, with the Ipod for a dj. He cares about the marriage, after the wedding. Remember, guys don't spend their entire lives planning a wedding like many of us girls do.

FH keeps saying that he hasnt picked out one thing. And then when i tell him things he decided he tells me that I did the research and he just chose based upon his options. Well then detective - YOU DO THE RESEARCH AND I WILL SELECT FROM MY OPTIONS!
