Why do men always think they have the better plan!! (vent)

I decided since yesterday, that I was sick of sitting around at home not doing a gosh darn thing but watching daytime television, and that I was going to go into the city to do some sightseeing. FH says 'ok, and you can meet up with me when I get off work' (he is working in the city this week) Fine...so I get up, take a shower get awesome directions from you guys on here and get ready to go. Then I get a call from FH saying 'why don't you wait till I get home take a shower and then we can go into the city together?' Which means now he WANTS me to sit at home bored again till he gets home because he won't want to hang around when he's done with work!! I guess my plan wasn't good enough!!!

Maybe he doesn't want to feel nasty going out right after work and wants to freshen up? And he just wants to do something with you.

I think this is true!! Tell him you'll go in and he can come home, freshen up, and meet you in there when he's ready. That way you both get what you want.
