Just because you told me you weren't coming, doesn't mean you don't also have to send the response back too! I like to keep track, I like to have proof that you said you weren't coming so that when you DO show up, I can say, Hey W T F you said you weren't coming. You are not special, EVERYONE has to respond, including my sister, my grandmother and my entire bridal party even though, yes obviously they are all coming. Oh, and FMIL, it is NOT okay to tell your friends that since they told you they are coming via email, they don't have to send the card back...they do too.

Okay, vent over Happy Bridezilla

UGGGGGGGHHHHHHH I know!!!!

I have two cases of this myself. One is FH's coworker and his wife, because she will be literally just about to be giving birth or will have *just* had the baby, which is perfectly legitimate. He told FH that they won't be able to come, and he will try to come to the church solo. Hasn't sent the card back. FH thinks it's acceptable. I do not.

My BM's parents aren't well, and they aren't coming. She told me they were coming to just the church but not the reception. Which is fine, I expected they wouldn't be, BUT SEND BACK THE CARD!!!!

Why are people so flipping difficult???

I totally agree. I am so frustrated too...Today is my RSVP date and I am missing like 20! UGHHHH I just want to finish my seating chart and start making some decision!

Why would I stamp your frekin RSVP if i wanted you to text me to tell me you are coming

Ugh I understand your frustration. My RSVP date is Oct 7 and we have 89 people who have yet to respond!

It is not hard I even stamped the envelops for them!

I just cant understand how people wont send the F*ing card.

Going through this whole wedding process has really taught me some things about normal regular decency and etiquette.

1. Send back the g-d damn card!
2. Send it back quickly.
3. DON'T WAIT TILL THE DUE DATE!!!
4. Don't call and say you are coming.
5. Don't send an e-mail
6. And for the LOVE OF G_D, DO NOT send a frigging text message.
7. Don't ask if you can bring a +1.
8. AND DON'T FRIGGIN ADD THE +1 without asking!!!
9. Don't ask to bring your kids.
10. Don't ask to bring your newborn infant.

And best of all....

11. DON'T BLACKMAIL me, and threaten that if you cant bring infant, child, 3 children, rosy the cat, or your long lost boyfriend from college that you really only had a one night stand with....that you wont come if THEY cant come!!!!!!!

Nuff said.

That felt REALLY good!!!!
