I think everyone craves attention to a degree...it's what some people will do for attention that's often pathetic!

I used to have a roommate that was famous for craving attention and her issue was low self -esteem and a boyfriend that pretty much ignored her so she needed to feel special

All good points. Especially the self-absorbed one.

I hate when people think that everyone around them actually wants to hear the minute details of everything they ever experience in their daily life. It's amazing how the most mundane thing is turned into Lifetime's Movie of the Week in their eyes.
