Why do vendors annoy me with less then 1 month to go....

I had my final appt last night with my DJ. With my new work schdule its hard to find a time that FH and I can go together. I called earlier this week and they told me to come Thursday night at 7pm. It was perfect. With traffic and it not being close we got there in 40 minutes. Once we got there the place was black. I called the phone number for over 20 minutes and waited to see if anyone showed up. NO LUCK! What a waist of a night when I have a million things to do. I left a few messages lets see when I get a call back.

That's uncalled for! Did they ever get back to you with a legitimate excuse?
Some of these vendors are pretty bold considering we all can easily bash them on this site- they should give outstanding service, first b/c they are in a service oriented industry and second, because one negetive review can turn off a potential customer
