If my singing was bad, then I would definately make sure that the music in the backround was good, but I can't listen to that new song with that constant honking!!! didn't anyone in the studio point that out?

come on thought, we have to recognize that she has done good movies. the singing yeah, I can agree but not in the acting. they are worst actresses out there than her.

come on thought, we have to recognize that she has done good movies. the singing yeah, I can agree but not in the acting. they are worst actresses out there than her.

I thought she was good in Selena and that movie with George Clooney .. and I did like the Cell.. but that's about it, she went downhill from there

But I agree, there are worst actresses .. Tara Reid is one I can think of off the top of my head

She is unwatchable!!

Because she finally succombed to the 'typical latina role' -- the MAID in a hotel. As everyone knows, all hotel 'maids' are latina, right?

And to add insult to injury, it's a g..ddamn rags to riches friggin Cinderella story!!!

She's supposed to be out there representing REAL latinas that are successful, intelligent women and being a role model for them... not perpetuating the stereotypes of latina women.

Sorry... that whole thing gets me a little too riled up!!!

fine I agree with that point, but it was a fun movie to watch. some way or another, people start somewhere, and you know that some people that come from other countries, do work in that field.

I cannot stand her...I think she's a very very lucky girl that has absolutely no talent (MAYBE she knows how to dance well) thats about it....Put any of us and have 800 make up artists and hair ppl doing you up every day, and have designers fitting close to you to wear everyday, we would be the same as her, there is nothing special about her at all....I've walked by and seeen ppl on the street that are more talented than she is!!! That Jenny from the Block bit pissed me off....she demands things and is the biggest drama queen ever....I agree the actors studio was crazy to put her on..they are really scraping the bottom of the barrel..sorry I feel very strongly about her

I feel bad if everyone is beating up on her and she really is still just 'Jenny from the block..' Not sure if I buy it...

She's probably a ball-busting-b!tch and that's how she got to where she is...I've found that in life, you don't have to be smart, talented, etc. to get anywhere...Sometimes if you're tough enough then it just happens.

And, it really irked me that she and M.A. sang that song in Spanish at the Grammy's.

I think she's a better actress than a singer...although I do like the song with LL Cool J.

But, her personal life is a little out of control. I mean she's been married three times already plus she had a major engagement between her 2nd and 3rd weddings - she gets A-ROUND!!!

Yes, sure some people get their start in and work in that field and there's nothing wrong with that at all. I just didn't think she should have done that role. I felt it was a step backwards, in her career and for latina actresses.
