Yes, sure some people get their start in and work in that field and there's nothing wrong with that at all. I just didn't think she should have done that role. I felt it was a step backwards, in her career and for latina actresses.

While I am not a fan, I really was impressed that she actually sang live at the Grammys (albeit with a ton of rehearsal that still sounded bad). But, she did it live where so many others can't or don't. She has guts.

her explanation for her weak voice was that she had a sore throath and that was the reason too why she cancelled an appearance in London.

I don't see why the bashing. I like her. I think she busted her arse to get to where she is and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Her personal life should have nothing to do with whether you think she's a good singer or actress .

To call her 'talentless' is a bit ridiculous IMO.

okay, i can't stand her! her movies are hoaky, yes, but i can tolerate them. there are worse movies out there and no, she can't act but there are few in hollywood who actually can, so we can't blame her there. her singing...well, they are fun to sing along to but i don't think she is fantastic, either.
i used to like her, but as soon as she hooked up with ben, that was it!!! she ruined him!!! sorry, but to go from puffy to ben was wrong! i just couldn't buy their relationship and something bothered me about the whole 3rd marriage in 3 years kind of thing.
eta: she is just everywhere and i don't like being bombarded by j.lo!!! there is such a thing as too much of something. she may sell, but it is overload!

i'll admit - she can dance. I am just not a fan of hers. would i like her salary and her body? sure. but lately she annoys me!

I like her older stuff but I dislike her new songs. They are uninteresting.
