Why does nobody seem to care about my wedding except for me??

Sorry, I just have to VENT...

I am so sad that nobody seems to care about my wedding...specifically my bridal party. Nobody asks me questions or shows any interest!! If I mention anything, I am looked at like 'bridezilla' and it just really hurts my feelings.

I recently rode home to PA with my MOH and we barely spoke about the wedding except for when I mentioned it....there is just NO interest....why??

I'm just really upset about this....while I know that nobody will ever care about my day the way I will, I expected that some people would care just a little

Anyone else feel like this?

I hear that!! Everyone thinks that everything can be done overnight. There is always 'plenty of time' right. Urrrr...I hate that too. Helooooo people, you can't book things and order things a week before now can you??

I feel all of you... I am still dealing with my obstacles.. but at this point... although I am excited about being married I am more excited about all of this being behind me.... MY BP is the same way except for the MOH who really has been donig a great job.. plus she is my little sis.. thank god for her

I think we all feel this way...I feel like not only nobody really cares (except for my mom. grandma, and my MOH) but I feel like some people just cant be bothered...meanwhile when they were getting married, or when their kids were being baptized or made their communion I/we were always there for them!!!! Sometimes it really just brings me down...

wow.. i feel the same way.. my mom doesn't really care.. well she does but she's scared to ask too many questions because she thinks she might have to open her wallet some more
my Bp is a lil different.. i have 8 girls.. 4 are my younger cousins.. they're excited but they're in college and they're just worried if they can drink at the reception
my MOH is my sister who lives in SF.. she doesn't really help.. i had to help her set up our bacheloretter party in PR.. a lil annoying but i try to calm myself and say that at least they want to go.. she doesn't have much money so i'm paying for myself.. it bothered me a little but i got over it.. not everyone can afford it.. i'm just lookin at it as a vacation before wedding.. my other bm is my FSIL.. she's great actually but she just had a baby so it's hard.. but she asks which is cool..
oh well.. it's my day and i'm gonna make it the best day of my life.. i should not care too much if people care about my wedding.. as long as FI and I do
wow.. this is very therapeutic!! who need a shrink?!?!?!

I know it stinks. People are always thinking about themselves and their own problems. That is why this website is so awesome because it is filled with people who care about you and your wedding. I dealt with the same thing. A lot of my friends are single and could care less about a petal cone or the fact that they matched my invites, etc. Even after the wedding you are thinking about the wedding and when you see people you want them to mention something about the wedding but they have moved on. So I think we all go through this.

I totally went through this. BUT, as it got closer to my day, everyone got more excited and involved. And, now I have just over 2 weeks, and it is all anyone is talking about!

Things will change - hang in there!
