I just need to vent... My deadline for RSVPs was Friday, the 10th. I need to PAY this weekend... and I'm still CALLING PEOPLE- mostly my FAMILY- to see if they are attending.. Why do people have to do this? It's not like it's a surprise. I sent out STDs in August with hotel information! Be prepared ladies- I suggest you get everyone's phone #s w/ their addresses just incase you need to call!

I hate when people do this, SO RUDE!!! And it happens a lot, people complain about it all the time here.

It has happened to all of us and I don't think it will ever change, what I say is don't let it ruin your attitude. Chin up sweetie, I think by far that was one of the worst part of our planning. It will be over soon. You know what I say, I will not invite those people to our anniv. party...j/k

I agree with shamma..don't let it get to you. It stinks yes but I think unfortunately many of went thru it. I am still waiting for 8 sets of people who still haven't replied by phone or mail and my wedding was in October! Also, don't let numbers bother you. They say the 15% is average. I invited 277 and only had 175. We knew many people lived far and were old and wouldn't come but the % still made me say wow! We really thought we would get 200-210..hey..I made my hall minimum and saved money and still got gifts (hehe) and had a great wedding day!

We were missing a lot of responses also and we mailed them out 2 months before the wedding.A few people responded no but never put their names on it so we didn't even know who they were.I think its rude of people not to respond.

That first thing I am doing to my invites is numbering my response cards in a light pencil. It will correspond to the morons that don't know how to write their names in the big blank SPACE provided.
