Why don't we start a thread of RD locations so that we can get them all in one place for everyone to use?

Original post by LIPrincess00

I'll start:

Jon Thomas Inne - Brightwaters
Papa Joe's - Deer Park

I haven't decided where I want mine yet.

We had ours at Sweetwaters in Hauppauge and they run a shuttle service to and from the hotel.

We are having ours @ JILLIANS in Farmingdale, my cousin is a party planner there and got us the room for free, it's a really nice room, too!! It even has a screen that comes down if you want to show pics, so i will probably do a powerpoint slideshow the whole time of pics of us with the bp and family members who will be there! It'll be fun and different--the wedding reception is so formal, so we thought we'd make the RD low key and casual!

I saw someone mentioned the Wantagh Inn. I was just there for a rehearsal dinner in May. It was really good!!! Good food and service!! Pretty room!! Beware though--extremely poor parking, i had to go down the block to the bank and pray i didn't get a ticket!

Also, my friend had hers @ OLIVE Garden which was really nice too-more food than you can ever eat--only thing is, it's not that private. you're kind of in the back (@ least @ the one in Massapequa) mixed in with everyone else.

I LOVE this place!!! What a great idea! Are you renting out the whole place? There's no private room, right?

Anna Maria's couldn't accomodate 30 people, so we're having it at

Il Giordino in Commack

La Bella Palermo in Babylon Village.

Argyle Tavern
Joe's Pasta (if small group)
Carriage House (nice with pretty - though small - room)
Pier 44
Mario's High-Hook

These are all in Babylon Village - the only area I really know bc I grew up there!
