Why don't we start a thread of RD locations so that we can get them all in one place for everyone to use?

This is for btrflygrl. I remember seeing your pictures for Sonoma Grill for your RD. You all looked like you had a great time there. We are considering using it for our RD. Please let me know a little more about how the RD was set up.

Sonoma Grill has a seperate room for parties in the front of the restaurant (on your right hand side as you walk in) and we had about 60 people in there comfortably. The tables are round and held about 6-8 people (I think) and they can or cannot pipe in the music from the restaurant/bar. We were there on a Fri from 4-8pm and they had live music. We did not do the open bar...too much $$ and no one was really drinking abyway. Menu is a choice of 3 different salads, 6 entrees and 3 desserts. (This is what your guests choose...there are about 15 different entrees to put on your menu). I was allowed to bring in an outside cake for DH. They printed up menus for us at no charge with our names on top (I don't know if anyone saved one). Soda, coffee, tea were included also...$23.95 pp. Kids were $9.95 I think...don't remember. They also had (our choice) 2, or was it 3 appetizers on every table.

I got MANY compliments on the food and everyone was stuffed!

WE wanted something low key, so we had ours at Sun Ming in Huntington. It was so much fun and the food is so good there! We pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves (thursday night) and the fun part was the dirty fortune cookies and to see the shock on everyone's faces. * you have to ask for the those fortune cookies. When we take our friends who have never been there, it is so hilarious to see their reactions.

We just booked Tai Show in Massapequa!!

It's a Japanese style sushi restaurant -- very authentic atmosphere... I LOVE it!!

We had about 20 people at Nick Diangelo's and ordered off the menu! The food was incredible and the service was outstanding! I love this restaurant

Mine is at a Charlie Brown's Steakhouse in Westchester; same one my bridal shower was in. We were happy with the service and the food, but especially the price whioh is aobut $20 with tax&grat.

We had ours at the Meetinghouse Creek Inn in Aquebogue (for you east end ladies).

Yummy - and probably about $20-ish a head. Includes app, dinner & dessert. drinks extra.

Many of these places sound great!
