Because we have so much time before we get married. I'm researching the heck out of all my vendors to make sure I get the best one for me. I couldn't imagine trying to get this all done in a year. I know I'm getting all the vendors I want because I'm booking so far in advance. At times having to wait so long is upsetting, but then I imagine trying to do this in less time and I can't imagine it.

I agree! My friend just recently got enagaged and is a 2009 bride...her options are limited b/c vendors, RH etc are all booked up!

same here. There is no rush to run around and get everything done right away...no worrying about if the vendor you want is already booked (well kinda...lol) Its nice to take our time, save the money and just enjoy the feeling of knowing that your going to be married!!!

Your absolutely right, its great having all this time. Although sometimes I think I could be ready tomorrow but why rush it? This gives me more time to be creative and research everything.

I totally agree!! Because I had so much time I was able to look at 20 RHs and really put alot of thought into them. I can do the same with my other vendors as well. I really feel like its so much less stressful this way.

I love having so much time and not feeling so rushed. The group of women I get to interact with on a daily basis on LIW are really smart, resourceful and helpful. i don't even need BHB as a resource because I have my 2010 brides!
There's such a cross-section of women here, all with different ideas... I've learned something from all of you and I appreciate it, and my wedding will be better for it.
