to ask the bridal party?? I have asked everyone in my bridal party except 2 girls (i have 3 sisters- so of course they already knew they were going to be in my wedding) i asked my best friend (who i've know since i was 5) like 2 weeks ago. and this weekend i am going to ask my two best friends from college. I think its just all the excitement, and i am really love all of these girls (like they were my sisters)..i am just so happy..i was going to wait too.but i just cant...hahaha :)
IF you dont mind i'll just like to know your reasoning as to why you are waiting or why you've asked them already....thanks so much!!!

im waiting bc im still trying to decide if i want to put one of my freinds in my BP and i cant ask everyone until i decide about her bc she is part of our group of friends...like there is 8 of us in total, but im only have 3-4 of them and then other friends from different groups. im waiting until after the holidays, prob around jan or feb

My wedding is July of 2007 and I have asked everyone to be in my bridal party. I have had my list for some time now so I wanted everyone to know :)

I made the mistake of asking everyone when I got engaged (which was back in 2003) but we have not been as close as we were since then . The 'originals' Im keeping is my sister (moh), FH's sister, and my best friend from high school- I have one more person in mind but Im waiting for that.

I asked my MOH (my sister) and FG ( a friend's daughter) almost immediately and my 2 BMs once I had a date set, which was only about 2 weeks after I was engaged.

I'm just like you excited, I have decided on my BP and told them. Telling them early is good gives them time to say yea or nay then you can move on form there. Just like i planned my wedding two years in advance I want to give them time beacuse its expensive. So i agree with you.

I havent asked everyone-just the girls who already knew they were...they didnt even say yes, they just said 'DUH'
But as far as the other person (only having 3) I cant decide whether or not I want to deal with drama from this person on my wedding day...and I know that there will be drama! When the parents are worried you should be too, so I still have some time as far as she is concerned

We haven't asked anyone yet cause we really weren't sure what kind of wedding we were going to have. At first we were going to have a wedding with about 100 people and therefore was thinking about having a bridal party with 1 MOH 1 best man & 2 BM 2 U FG & RB. But now we are having a small family wedding and only having MOH & best man. still thinking about FG & RB but that would be it. So i am glad that we didn't ask anyone cause then we would have to take it back. YUCK that would be so tacky!!!!!!!
We are going to send out our STD before we do any asking but I am 100% sure that the trip wont be a problem for them.
