I am using them and I know of a lot of brides who have used them and love them. Frank is the best, he is so professional and he gave us a showcase to see what he will be doing at the wedding.
FM Entertainment is amazing. They did my wedding. I would book them all over again. Frank is amazing at what he does. There was not a moment that the dance floor was not packed. His prices are good. They way he does it is the basic package is one price. Then any add ons are extra. This way people can pick what they want with there budget. I have heard only good things on here from FM Entertainment and I am so glad I booked them. You have nothing to worry about.
I don't know why they are cheaper. Def check the reviews on here. I do know why Starlight is more money though. Its because they use very high end equipment that is similar to recording and concert equipment and costs thousands more than traditional equipment. Maybe it has to do with what they use? Did you try asking them? :)

On a side note that I think is worthy of mention regarding their business practices, the reason I even knew about them was b/c my sister had a fund raiser she was coordinating and they were one of not many entertainment companies on LI who were willing to work a charitable event for 'free'. What they did get out of it was free advertising. They did a great job and they are the nicest people. I have no worries on this, in fact it's really something I'm not even thinking much about b/c I'm completely confident in them.

I am the sister she is talking about and let me tell you, Frank is amazing!
This company is reasonable and professional and I am sure they get a lot of business, which keeps their prices low. They are not slimey like some other vendors who hear 'wedding' and all of sudden raise their price a few hundred dollars. Honestly, I have gone to see some DJ's when I was planning my wedding who were triple the price, and were not nearly as good.
