why is it...

why is it...

That even though we include a stamped envelope with the return address already on it and people insist on calling. I have gotten calls saying 'I got your invite, now what do we do?' My mom told me someone called for me and asked her that question, my response was 'reading is fundamental'

Re: why is it...

i've gotton these calls...i've also gotten rsvp's back from a person, with an asterick that says her daughters are coming on the back. I was so frustrated bc first of all, the person invited her own kids before the invites went out, and I agreed. Here's the kicker...each daughter got their own invitation. WHY CAN'T THEY SEND BACK THEIR OWN RSVP?? They are both over 30 yrs old!!!

I can't wait to look forward to all this nonsense when my invites go out next month!
There's always that one or two people in the family that can't read or pay attention to directions!

Re: why is it...

They should have a class in HS or something called Wedding Basics 101...

Topics covered.

1.) Only the Bride Wears White to a Wedding

2.) Only those listed on the invitation are actually INVITED

4.) How to send back an RSVP before the date requested
(*refer to topic #2 when filling out how many will attend)

3.) If I haven't spoken to you in 10 years & I bump into you out somewhere, you still won't be invited, even if you keep asking

4.) When it says Adult Reception that means your 6 children are not invited (refer back to topic #2 again)

Re: why is it...

I know that MOST of my family members are going to do that..and its going to piss me off. You spend so much money on stamps that for them to discard the response card and just call you would drive any nuts! But then its like, if you dont include it..some people will talk...

When we sent out our Save The Dates, FH's grandmother called his mother & INSISTED that she come over right away & bring the police because 'someone sent me a bomb and it has Robby's picture on it.'
