why is it...

I sent out my STDs last week, and now a lot of people have called or sent email and said, 'I got your invite...' It's NOT an invite, people! Sigh.

I DIY'ed the STDs, and didn't think to put 'invitation to follow' on it because it said 'June 3rd, Long Island: Pencils and Mr Pencils are tying the knot and are planning to invite you. You have been warned.' Yeah, it was silly, but I wanted to do silly becasue the real invites will be fairly formal. Why do people think this little card with no address or other info is an invite? I realize some of them haven't heard of an STD, but it does say 'SAVE THE DATE' on half the card!

omggg that is TOO funny!!!!!!! What is WRONG with people today!!!!! lolol

1.) Only the Bride Wears White to a Wedding

2.) Only those listed on the invitation are actually INVITED

4.) How to send back an RSVP before the date requested
(*refer to topic #2 when filling out how many will attend)

3.) If I haven't spoken to you in 10 years & I bump into you out somewhere, you still won't be invited, even if you keep asking

4.) When it says Adult Reception that means your 6 children are not invited (refer back to topic #2 again)

i've gotton these calls...i've also gotten rsvp's back from a person, with an asterick that says her daughters are coming on the back. I was so frustrated bc first of all, the person invited her own kids before the invites went out, and I agreed. Here's the kicker...each daughter got their own invitation. WHY CAN'T THEY SEND BACK THEIR OWN RSVP?? They are both over 30 yrs old!!!

Maybe she knows her daughters well enough to know they might not send their own RSVP's. I hear some people want to be personal by calling. Just say thanks for calling, but could you please send the rsvp it help me stay organized.
