2012'er crashing. I'm more than a year away from my wedding and I already heard someone talking crap about my wedding which I haven't even fully announced yet. I only told her b/c she asked about it and I regret even going into detail about the thing I already did. I thought I could trust her to be happy for me, but guess i was soo wrong.
Also my cousin that is getting this May is having sooo much family drama going. This makes me not look forward to dealing with my family when the time comes. I agree with anjelagain .. the less you talk about wedding related stuff with family and friends, the less they will give their opinion about it. I'm already preparing myself on how i'm going to deal with my family with my wedding planning once my cousins wedding is over.
One thing is for sure .. I am not sharing any of my wedding planning with Family b/c the last thing I want to hear is Why are doing this? and you should have done that? Etc.

Im a 2012 crasher too lol
This is my 2nd marriage so I know exactly what you mean and I also saw it during my cousins wedding planning a few years ago. You really learn who is true and who is not!!!!

No. I have been very fortunate. I have been with FH for 21 years. We waited a very long time to get married. We are the last ones in both families to get married and have been the longest together from everyone in our families.
Everyone is just so excited and cant wait. I always said I will get married when I am ready to have kids. Everyone know this so they are excited for me to have kids as well.
I actually get annoyed because I get 5 phone calls a day from people wanting to help me with EVERYTHING....

Absolutely yes! Most of my friends have been great, but there have been a few that have acted jealous and very disinterested at times! It's ridiculous. A lot of my friends got married before me and I never once acted jealous or uniterested in their plans. I just ignore those people bc I won't let them take my happiness away.

Oh yea ... I keep hearing 'well, you dont have to get your makeup done professionally' or 'well you dont have to have a shower' and 'why do you need professional photography' from people ... ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? My shower is not my choice, its what my BP wants to do ... Yes, I need my makeup done, and OF COURSE I want pictures of the wedding - its what keeps the memories alive! And this was only from one couple! I've been let down so much from so many people, its ridiculous! But whatever, it makes me more grateful for the people in my life that are helping with the wedding!

Yes it has!!! But now that I am only 2 weeks away - I could careless about anyone except my FH.
