We finally bought our own home and are moving this Saturday My monther acts as though she could care less that we are moving to LI from Westchester. I guess she is Pi$$ed becasue she won't see our son as often. Her only comments about the house were yeah it's ok and she just called me to ask when I am getting the crib out of her attic, meanwhile she knows we have struggled with miscarriages and problems getting pregnant.

I hear ya - My mom is pulling the same cr@p - Would you believe she doesn't want me getting ready in our house ON MY WEDDING DAY cuz - don't ya know - Hairspray is a pain in the a$$ to clean up......

Michelle - I am sorry to hear that your mom is being unsupportive and insensitive (if you don't mind me saying so) My mom, while she is my best friend in the whole world, can turn ice cold if something happens that she is unhappy about and I can imagine if I were moving....she would prob. feel lonely and might act out.....
It's not fair though....and you shouldn't have to be at the receiving end.....
