What about it made you pick your RH? What are some negative aspects you have to compromise on?
I picked mine because it is so different and nonconventional. Plus i dont think anyone who invited has gone there before so everyone will remember it was our wedding! I hate the price and the person in charge of coordinating. oh well.

Mine is winter and at night....I've always loved that icy, cold, magical look of the ocean in winter and at night...I know, I'm a freak!

I don't know what RH everyone is using in the post!
I loved Fox Hollow. I visited last fall and fell in love. no pun intended I swear! I think the room is beautiful and unconventional. It easy to keep the wall flowers away from the DJ and they can mingle easily while everyone else dancing.

That's so cute!
I never heard of Fox Hollow until I was engaged and started going through some magazines. I'm glad I found it because it was the only place I visited!

We choose our RH bec we were looking for a mansion style/feel RH. We loved the Victorian era decor, our room has french doors going all around it which lead to their beautiful gardens and ponds. The amount of food, the CH and VH won us

My RH is definetely the one. I can't stop thinking about it. I love the atrium for cocktail hour. The ballroom has colored lights in the ceiling. The marble dance floor. The huge selection of food. Thr 15 station Viennesse hour. It is different and only 1 person has been there before. With such a big family, we seem to always go to the same RH's for a wedding. I wanted mine to be something people would remember.

I picked CB because FH and I come out from the floor. I loved the bathroom. It was so clean. I loved the waterfall outside, the lights, the smell of CB. It smelled like fresh flowers. I loved everything about CB

We wanted something different...something that didn't have marble, had wooden floors, was on the water, but wasn't run-down looking....
We also liked the location. It's not on a busy highway or a cult de sac...its in a residential neighborhood with tons of trees....I loved that.
I cant wait to get married there!!

mine's like that too. you can see Connecticut at night all lit up. it was in a neighbor hood & had its own private beach. and it kinda reminded me of a 'backyard' wedding!

GWM. it's very old, from the 1700's. it has a free standing chapel that I love. I also love the fact that the room holds a max of 135 forcing us to have a small wedding.

CH is outside over looking the long island sound and I love that it played such a huge part of who my FH is.
Also because we don't have to pay tax and I have been to two weddings there and they have all run smoothly so I know I have nothing to worry about.
