Why oh why....

I hate that tooooooooo!

So many ppl asked me that...especially when I first got engaged...

I would just say Idk, around blah blah...and some ppl would have the nerve and say, oh come on you know exactly how many carats it is - tell me.

I think it's rude and tacky....like, who cares....myb...ha ha ...

Ok rant over..

LOL i get that all the time too....i just tell them so they could wish they had it!

But what I DO hate is when people say ' wow he must REALLY love you' . Like if he proposed with a different ring, I would have said no, or he doesn't love me as much ???

Yup , me too and that bothers me more then how many carats .

I get that all the time and I love their reaction when I say.....'the band or the center stone?' they get all like ummm well umm lol I put them on the spot then

I have to say also, that i have had a few random compliments to me on the ring, and to FH as well.

Once while waiting for FH to try clothes on a woman approched me and complimented my freshly cleaned ring ( steam does miracles for shine ). FH Hollered out from behind the fitting room'Who the heII are you talking to?'

He was embarrased to come out and see I actually had a real live person standing there.....who imediately told him he had great taste.

Nice people compliment, nosey people pry.

Kick the nosey people in the shins!!

I hate that as well- I just tell them that I am not sure but thanks for admiring my ring.

Now most of my attention goes to the wedding band not the e-ring...

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was showing how my my wedding band looked with my ering to someone at work and she was like 'OH MY GOD DOES THAT INTERFERE WITH YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE?????!!!!' .......dont you just love some people

How about this-

My ring is a solitaire, on the smaller side. It's actually about 1/4 of a carat. Due to circumstances when FH proposed, it was all he could afford and I think it is perfect. I was never big on jewelery so he always bought me smaller stuff. I actually have people look at me shocked when they see my ring- and then go


AWWWWW--how cute!

I personally wouldn't trade my ring for anything in the world.
