As an LIF 'lurker' - who only reads threads once in a while or if they are shown to me in instances like this, I do not agree that you need to read things in context.

The women posting on the thread that Jess started on LIF are VERY immature (and I am not including Jess in this bc from what I read, she did not have mean things to say but the women who responded did). They make fun of LIW for no reason, and they describe the women on this site using adjectives that really better describe them and that exact thread - as they trash a website that they were once a part of and make fun of people who act less 'dramatic' than they do.

Need I remind you about the thread last night on BHB....yes....it went it the wrong direction...smara was just asking a question..........but it just brewed up a whole load of problems.

It was an LIF/LIW thing on LIW...I didn't have to lurk to witness that one.....if my mind does not escape me....you posted on it as well.

It just gets old Nicole...real old.

A big part of the problem here is that many of the LIWers that don't frequent LIF are taking things out of context. That board has been around for over a year, and there have always been running conversations. Someone who occasionally lurks, or takes a peek when there's drama is obviously not going to understand it.

Most of those ladies have been there, done that. They know what matters, and what doesn't, and honestly, its funny!

Some of you already know that I am already legally married. But of course, I still want my big, classy LI wedding...that's why I'm here, and that's why I'm saving every penny for 2 1/2 years. That's what this site is about - anything else is just extra. Don't take everything to heart - you'll all develop ulcers!

I don't think you have to frequent the board to know that people are being mean or making fun of people, as long as you can read it is purely common sense.

Let me give you some background Mystery. Nicole and her friends lied on me saying I made a racist comment in efforts of getting me banned from the site. That was a personal attack. I never came on here when it was done to tell the world of the mischief. But they dont stop. They continue to harrass innocent people. They are no worse the the modern day terrorists.

Can I say that I am totally lost when reading this thread now.

But I do want to ask a question. Why does anyone really care about what other people think? I remember when I first came here and stated my intentions in depth, there were a lot of people who were upset. At first I wasnt going to stay then there were those that welcomed me with open arms (enjft, lilqtpie, nina and others sorry if i forgot your names) and had such nice things to say about the site and ladies. Honestly people make their comments but the fact of the matter is the smoke clears and people forget what was said and basically move on back to planning, GTG's, booking vendors and just plain fun. Keeping a thread like this going only creates more drama people get offended and feelings get hurt and things get taken out of context. Weddings are Happy occasions wedding planning with friends make it all the more merrier!

Exactly, we all know you made no such comments.
Its a big lie, so just ignore their nonsense.

I think at this point everyone is just curious as to why certain things are said on LIF - and I do believe full disclosure would be nice by those involved parties...

But if not, we will all move on rather quickly as no one wants to be bogged down by such nonsense and immaturity

But I just want to say that IT DOES matter to SOME people what is said on this site. ENJIFT is one of the most popular 07'ers... and one of my good friends outside of LIW... It is NOT right for people to just gang up on someone for their own satisfaction... Its just necessary... That's the point... We are all here for the same reasons... It just so happens that some girls like to cause unnecessary Drama that hurts other peoples feelings.

Just stop it... Its enough. And Eliana... You do not need to prove yourself to anyone... We all know who our true friends are...

And to the people that think LIW is only filled with Drama... Remember you were here once... And most likely... You were always the ones causing Drama which is why you are causing it on LIF boards now... You say LIW is only about drama... yet all you talk is **** and act like a effing Drama queens and LIW drama only starts up when you come over here...

Uhmm this is my last post to this subject.
1) I wasnt saying anything negative about anyone so Im not sure why my comment was quoted in that fashion.
2) I have no doubt about ENJFT's intentions when she posts, I've read them and she is caring, to the point and honest when she makes her remarks. I have no intention of asking her to prove any points.
3) If anything negative was said about her I understand her feelings and they are warranted. What I said was and let me make this clear. If the comments are not true and there are people on this site that can prove contrary to the lies being said then you can't let them bother you. Especially if you have good friends who show that your character in no way rings true to the lies. People can only hurt you if you believe what they say. Though I've never had the pleasure of meeting her she seems to be truely a nice and sweet person and have read nothing but praises about her.
