WHY won't people RSVP????

Ok, my RSVP date is May 11. The invites have been out for about 2-3 weeks. We invited 194 people. ONLY 62 have responded!!! GRRRRRRR!!!! ***!!!

On an equally annoying note, FH's brother has decided he's not coming to our wedding, basically because of the problems we are having with FH's sister. He's taken her side. A$$hole. So instead of telling us himself or sending the rsvp, he had his MOTHER call and tell us. Loser. What are you, twelve years old? You have your MOTHER call for you! And he was in the BP by the way. 3 weeks to go & he drops out. Loser. I feel SO BADLY for FH. His sister & now his brother aren't coming to his wedding. He didn't come to the hospital or call when Ella was born either. A$$holes. LOOOOOOOOOSERS!!!!

If FHs sister and brother don't go to your wedding, it's their loss. There will come a time when they both kick themselves for being there on their brothers wedding day......

I know--our reply date was May 1st. I haven't added it up yet, but about half of our invitees haven't responded. I was hoping to get a bunch postmarked the 1st, but no, didn't get any on Friday or Saturday. Now I have to start calling people. Maybe I can get my mom to call my aunts and cousins. Yes, my aunts and first cousins, we're not talking about distant relatives or friends I don't talk to much. Sigh. And these are people I sent STDs to, so it's not as if this should have been a big surprise.

Ugh..thats all I have to say...UGH...why is it sooo darn complicated to place a check and place the pre-stamped envelope in a mail box...

I totally feel your pain with ther RSVP returns. I'm in the same boat as you. It kind of makes me freak out a little but everyone keeps telling me that people always wait to the last min. to reply. God I hope their right.

I'm sorry to hear about your FH's family. I hope that everything works out for the best. Keep your head up and support your FH thats all you can do.

We've gotten less than half back.

Our RSVP date is May18, but I bet we're not getting all those back by then....

I honestly don't plan on getting many RSVPs back... FHs family is Austrian and RSVPs are not really common there... his mom said its too much work or something and its easier to tell us over the phonewho's coming and who isn't... well geez, how much easier can we make it for u..write your name, check a box or 2 and voila.

I've been really anno0yed about this too. People seem to think I'm crazy b/c I expect them back. Um, I send you a self- addressed stamped envelope. How much easier can that be?

I am so so sorry to hear that you are dealing with family members who are NOT SO NICE......I know its hard not to take it to heart, but take a deep breath and tell yourself, this day is for me and FH and no matter what, NOBODY will ruin my day, they miss out on a magical day, some people are rude, nasty and jealous and you and future husband just go forward and dont look back at all. They dont deserve to be in your party after the way the are acting, espcially after not showing up when your beautiful daughter was born. I know its hard but look ahead, you have the most magical day of you life coming up, best of luck with everything else......SMILE........

Thats really messed up of them not to go to the wedding. It's better for you and FH tho because you don't have to deal with any stress caused over arguments at YOUR wedding. Its YOUR day and if they dont want to come then their loss. They'll look back on the day and the only one who will feel bad is THEM. I know my dad isn't coming and you know what.. his loss .... 'don't get mad, get glad!!!' hehe GOOD LUCK WITH THE RSVP's!!!
