Wigging out over florist....

Hi girls,

Okay. Now I'm starting to wig out about the florist.... I've got 66 days to go. I booked xxxxxxxxxxx, but I've gotten some conflicting feedback. Some were rave reviews, some were pretty bad.

I also found out that she will not do a sample of my centerpiece before the wedding, which makes me nervous. We're having an object in the middle of the table, and I wanted a flower arrangement to go around it, like a wreath. I really want to see what this is going to look like before the Big Day.

I'm thinking of taking at look at Flower Michele because it's gotten such GREAT feedback on the board.

I just don't know what to do. Should I just stick with my decision (and not lose my deposit) with xxxxxxxxx, OR, do I shop around before it's too late?

And how do you 'fire' a florist, anyway????

Any suggestions????

there's no reason whatsoever that she shouldn't make you a centerpiece unless she was unsure of herself! Id be nervous. Good Luck! Keep us posted

I recently booked Flower Michele and he said they wont do a wedding without a sample, no matter how big or small, that made me feel real comfortable.

As a last resort (altho I don't think you should have to do this) can you offer to pay for a sample? Just so you don't have to lose your deposit & get to see her work? & check your contract since its very close she may try to take the deposit & some extra $ for holding the date! Good luck!
