changing into a different dress during their wedding?
I thought that if I found a really affordable wedding dress that I may buy a second party type dress. Is this cheesy? Just a thought

I was thinking about it to but then when I was trying on the dress I loved the lady at the salon said that why change when you will never be able to wear that dress again you would want to wear it as long as you can

Yes this is true. I just thought my brothers fiance found a gown for 700 at Davids Bridal and I think that is a good price why not buy two beautiful dresses. But you are right!

Re: Will anyone be....
I had a friend that did this last year. She had a gorgeous Reem Acra gown that she wore for her ceremony, pics, and first dance. Then she changed into a different dress and some drunk guy spilled red wine on the front.
She headed back to the bridal suite to change back to the reem acra. It ate up quite a bit of time during the reception.
If you feel like it, do it. I'm way too lazy for that

If I were to change it would be before CH since I have so much time. Does it take long to get into a dress?
I bet if you change the undergarments would have to be different also!

I'm not changing at the wedding, but I was thinking about changing at the reception. Like the last hour or two of the reception.

Knowing me I will probably buy the one dress and use it as a night gown that night hoping that my party and our special day doesnt end.

Re: Will anyone be....
I'm not going for the ball gown for this very reason.
OK, I went to 2 totally different weddings in October. The first one the bride was wearing almost a nighty looking dress, nothing to it, really form fitting, all satin. The second the bride wore a ball gown. I always wanted the ball gown look but after seeing my friend look so uncomfortable all night, I changed my mind. I don't want something exactly like the first bride (I thought after she took the veil off it was hard to see she was the bride!), but something without poof.
