If I skip the programs? I mean they are cute and all but I dont want to get stuck doing them .. we are only having a half hour ceremony ( no mass)

I don't think they will be missed. I think it's one of the 'optional' things. Good luck on your decision.

I don't think you need programs, especially for a short ceremony.

My ceremony is 1/2 hour and i decided to bag the idea... IMO, they are kind of a waste, I never keep them and you only look at them for 2 minutes.

No way. I'm doing them only b/c we're having a Greek Orthodox ceremony and my family and I are Catholic. I want people to know what's going on. If we weren't interfaith, I would not do them.

no, not at all. We're not doing them, and i've never gotten a program for a wedding that wasn't a full mass.
and we're interfaith... but i think everyone in our families have attended interfaith ceremonies so they know the deal.

I noticed it when I went to a wedding and there weren't any. I always like to know who's in the bridal party and stuff like that

thats the only reason I was going to do it.. but since the bp is all family everyone knows who everyone else is... plus I figured they get introduced at the hall later for people who didnt already know who they are
I dont think anyone will miss them. Especially if it is just the ceremony and not the whole mass (thats what I am doing too).

Nah, they won't be missed. I'm still debating them myself and I'm probably having a full mass. One less thing to stress over!

no one will miss them....same situation here...half hr ceremony....no one asked for them!
Don't worry about it...I didn't want the stress of doing ANOTHER project!

I don't think they will be missed. I am not doing them, since our ceremony will only be about 10 mins long.

The only reason I might do them (like Marcela1654 said) is because Fh is Greek and we're having a Greek Orthodox ceremony. Since my family is Italian Catholic and we happen to have a lot of Jewish friends, we don't want them totally lost at the church!

Re: Will anyone miss it?
I am definately not doing it! We are having a short and sweet ceremony 20-30 minutes. Depanding on how long it takes my huge wedding party to get down the aisle. We are also getting married at the hall, not a church. I've never been to a wedding where they had programs. The first time I've ever heard of it was here.
I debated it, but decided NO, because I have enough to do! n t
