Will these go together?

I want to wear pearls for my wedding day but since my hair is short, I thought standard pearls might be too simple. My dress is below. I am NOT wearing that horrible veil. I also included a picture of my hair comb and the earring possibilities. I LOVE #1 but am afraid it might be too much with the haircomb. I will be wearing plain pearl strand around my neck.Will it all go together?

Earrings #2 I have earrings very similar to these. Would they be better?

My hair will be in a style somewhere between these two-not sure if straigth or curly but it is short.

I think that you could wear the hair comb, but the earnings need to be small and simple so that they go with the necklace. I think that the big pearl earnings are to much. I try to wear big earnings when I don't wear a necklace or if I wear an alter top. IMO

I think the pearl studs would be best--the hair comb is beautiful, but it would be too much with elaborate earrings.

The comb, the studs, and the string of pearls will be beautiful. You'll look wonderful.

someone once told me when i was going to a wedding that if you choose to have elaborate earrings, then sometimes aa bare neckline looks very classy and elegant...i love love love the chandelier earrings (#1) ...i agree that you dont want to overdo it, but i would pick the piece i love the most (i see u said the earrngs) and then take it from there...maybe get a smaller haircomb, for example a broach-like comb that would match the earrrings...is the haircomb already purchased?

I love the hair, I think it will definetly go with the dress, but I have to agree, then I think you would have to go with the smaller earrings.

The haircomb is already purchased. It is slightly smaller than that one but otherwise looks just like it. It was purchased for me as a present from my MOH so the haircomb cannot be changed. I figured the earrings would be too much but just thought I would ask anyway. I have small stud earrings like the ones in the picture so I am pretty much set. I just wnated to incorporate a little sparkle because was afraid the pearls with a solid lace dress that has no beading at all, would look 'old.' Thanks all.

I agree- simpler earrings.

I just have to say you are gonna look stunning on your big day! What a gorgeous dress- and I LOVE the hairstyle you're going for!!!

thanks folks -grins- needed a little ofego inflating today -chuckle- My dad god love him...HATES short hair. I was talking to him last night and showed him the hairstyle and he said, 'Thank God it looks feminine. That other hairstyle you had (my 'halle Berry style which I love) makes you look like a boy and I don;t want people asking me why my son is wearign a weddign derss in pictures.'

My dad was like that too...loved to be honest!

I've always admired short hair - I always wish I could pull it off cuz I think shorter hairstyles are SO much cuter.

I have a long face-think sarah jessica parker 'horsey' -grins cause thats sorta eman-bad jenny- So when ym hair is super long and straight, I start looking stretched out. I'd always ahd super long hair I could sit on but after I gradiated HS and broke up with my first b/f, my friend 'kidnapped' me and took me to get it cut. We chopped it to the jaw and I was in shock but then I was working as a camp counselor at sleepaway camp. Was waaay too much work to have even chin-length hair because its thick and I was in and out of pool 3 times a day. So I went home and to the beauty shop with tons of pics and told the lady 'do what you will.'

-grins- I dont reccomend this to everyone if you're afraid lol but I clsoed my eyes and ended up with my Halle Berry hairut. Its funny because men normally say they like long hair, but WHOOO boy did I get more attention from everyone (including the guy I liked at the time) when theys aw my new do.

LOL even an old teacher I ran into from HS said he normally didnt like short hair on women but it was 'stunning.' -grins-

So it has appeal. I do more when its short-wear cute clips and headbands but when its long I just yank it back. If you ever consider going short, try a mid-length-razored layers (what i have) thin out thick hair a little to give it bounce and flippy ends.

We went shopping for the comb first ebcause we read in bridal mags that jewlery can always be matched but hair accessories you love cannot always be matched to the jewleery if you choose it first.

I may just buy the earrings and wear them to my mOH's weddign two weeks after mine!

I think the studs are the way to go if you're wearing a necklace. But I would love to know where you saw those other earrings! They are similar to what I am looking for.
