I just clicked on the 06 board...And there is only like 6 posts! What happened to all their posts? I thought they locked old years but were able to still search them. And where did the 05 board go!
Will we be disintegrated into cyber space soon too!? I could cry.
Please tell me it isn't so....

Ours will be locked at the end of December....Ours posts weren't deleted we just don't have much to say anymore and we have kind of migrated to LIF...it's sad never thought it would happen but it did

There's only one page cuz it's sorted by the last 2 days of posts. If you go to the bottom of the page, you can see posts by other timeframes. And you can still search them. Also 05 is still there - look at the Forums list - it's right above the Newlyweds link. Still very sad that the boards die!!!

I remember that, where is that, there are not many brides from the first half of the year, that come on much, I do see alot of them over on Lif..but tis so sad, the boards are so slow

well not to be a debbie downer---but can ya blame them? i mean really ladies--think about it---at the end of 08 do you think that you will all be posting like crazy on this site anymore? this is LIWeddings--cause well its about weddings and planning---i can't blame the 06ers for moving on cause for the majority of them, they have already had their 1 yr anniversaries and then some....some have babies and families already....and that's when they move on from the wedding planning boards.
most of the 06ers have just moved onto LIF where the posts are all about life in general and 'hot topics' vs. just wedding planning. i believe the same thing will happen to this board when the end of 08 happens--cause well...its just natural to move on!

I don't think we mean its sad that life is moving on, I think everyone means that its sad that this part of our life is over, and it was such a big important time in our lives for so long

Yeah, it stinks how slow the board is these days. It stinks that you were there for all the 07 brides and it seems like not too many of us are still around.
I give all you brides left tons of credit, I am ridiculously busy these days, I couldn't imagine having a wedding on top of it!!!

I agree with Melissa. Im one of those early 07 brides that rarely posts now... BUT I am lurking, I come look on here to see whats up, but really have nothing to post re: wedding stuff. So I moved on to LIF...
