I just clicked on the 06 board...And there is only like 6 posts! What happened to all their posts? I thought they locked old years but were able to still search them. And where did the 05 board go!
Will we be disintegrated into cyber space soon too!? I could cry.
Please tell me it isn't so....

There are alot of us around, we mostly have moved over to the NW board but we still lurk and come over to 07 and BHB now and then to make sure our 07 B2Bs are hanging in there.
ETA: the 07 board wont be locked until the end of 08

well not to be a debbie downer---but can ya blame them? i mean really ladies--think about it---at the end of 08 do you think that you will all be posting like crazy on this site anymore? this is LIWeddings--cause well its about weddings and planning---i can't blame the 06ers for moving on cause for the majority of them, they have already had their 1 yr anniversaries and then some....some have babies and families already....and that's when they move on from the wedding planning boards.
most of the 06ers have just moved onto LIF where the posts are all about life in general and 'hot topics' vs. just wedding planning. i believe the same thing will happen to this board when the end of 08 happens--cause well...its just natural to move on!
Understood, but I was referring to the 07 gals.
oh yeah-- i knew what you meant in referring to 06ers--but i was just saying that how the 06ers starting to fade away at the end of 06 is how we are fading away at the end of 07--and around this time next year--it will be the same thing, i'm sure.

I barely post or lurk anymore either. Don't know why, cause God knows I'm still bored @ work I just don't have much advice to give. Being on the flip side when I was an upcoming bride I listened to everyone & took it into consideration, but forgot most of it to be honest. So, I guess I feel like it's a waste of time. And the fact that it no longer encompasses my whole life, I have little interest in it. it's sad, but I wouldn't want to do it again, I'll tell you that.

I was thinking the same exact thing as I was scrolling through it, its also very funny how many people posted on that and said they would be around to see all the 07 girls get married and have somehow disappeared

I am just sad because I feel why post a review, most of the girls I became friendly with are gone... I know it is reality, but it is just sad.

PS, I dropped my dress of last Tuesday and still haven't heard from them to take a look before preservation...I hope they didn't do it before I got to look, maybe I should give a call.
