I am thinking of attending my CH after taking pictures...(don't want to miss the food) but then on the other hand I want to make a grand entrance..and come in to the reception after..what are you guys doing??..

We are having a brief moment after the ceremony called 'yichud' where we break bread alone together for the first time as a family. After about ten minutes, we will join the cocktail hour. I do not think that anything could take away from our entrance into the reception as man and wife. Especially since the band will be playing loud!!!!

we will be attending without a doubt n my mind! I dont want to miss any part of the wedding... we will spend some time right at the beginngin alone! and then we will go to th cocktail hour, enjoy allll of the delicious food and begin to mingle say some hellos. We will STILL be having a grand entrance

I will not be attending the CH...The Floral Terrace brings all the food that is at the CH up to you....I wan to make my 'Grand Entrance' plus I don't want to risk walking around the CH room & someone spilling something on me...I think FH will go down & mingle a little bit

DEFINITELY! I'm going to take that opportunity to mix and mingle with the guests so I don't have to worry about greeting everyone later. Also, CH is the best food!

We were originally not going but we decided that it would help us because we can go around and say hello and thank you to everyone. Then we can party it up during the reception!!!

oh my gosh, that's exactly what i tell everyone..we're paying for it, so want to enjoy everything, and not miss anything!

Definitely! We plan on taking pics before the ceremony, so we can greet guests at the CH, eat, and have more time to ENJOY ourselves at the reception...

We both totally wanted to, but didn't get a chance to. That's even with taking pictures before hand AND having an hour & half CH. Sometimes no matter how much planning we do....things just don't work out the way we'd expect it.

I didn't vote b/c I want to, but don't know if there will be time! Plus, I really want to make an entrance! But our hall provides food for us in the suite, so I don't think we'll miss that!

OMG after having just been to a CH for my nephew's Bar Mitzvah last night which was at the same place as my wedding, THERE IS NO DOUBT that we will attend our cocktail hour. I will post a review later forr the couple of brides getting married at the temple. I assure you that you will LOVE IT!!!

us too!!! its the best part, and i have too many friends who have been married and said their only regret was not attending the cocktail hour, its very important to me
