So on Say Yes to the Dress a lot of women bring the FMIL with them. I never even considered this. We are not close. Do you think she will be offended?

We are pretty close but, I didn't bring FMIL. She was not offended at all. She is going to come to my fittings.

My FMIL and I have a pretty close relationship she has become like a second mother to me so I will be bringing her to the dress try outs...but I guess it all depends how close you and your FMIL are if you say you and her are not that close I don't think she will be offended.

I didnt bring FMIL with be but thats becasue she is in CT and never wants to come to NY mind you she lives in Stratford which is like and hour and 10 mins away

I wanted to bring FMIL when I made a decision but she wasn't able to come so I am bringing her when my dress comes in.
