Will you continue wearing your e-ring after the wedding?

Im having a hard time finding a band that will match my e-ring and i dont want a plain one. I want bling!! Is it wrong of me to not want to wear the e-ring once i have the band i want.

I feel so bad bc i know FH spent a buttload of money on it and I love it to death but i feel like its not practical

Its a 3 stoner that looks exactly like this one so i was thinking maybe removing the stones...making earrings out of the 2 side stones and then making a new e-ring that will match a band that i will love forever. I feel like i may hurt FH feelings though if i make that suggestion. Its better than not wearing it at all right!?!?!? someone? anyone? hahaha I need reassurance.

I know a lot of people who don't wear their e-ring anymore. I had trouble finding a band that fit my e-ring, too. I have 6 prongs on mine so every band I tried on, there was a gap in between the two rings. The one I settled on has a gap. I can't say that I am absolutely in love with it, but I am satsified and I will wear them together.
JMO, I wouldn't touch the engagement ring. Maybe 10 years down the road, your FH will understand, but I know my FH would have a sh@t fit if I did that.
Here is another suggestion...why dont you just wear the band on the other hand. I have seen a lot of women do that, too.

My BFF/MOH has a 3 stone princess ring-her wedding band is a channel set band, diamonds set in top half. Looks great together. When they go on vacation she only wears her wedding band. I'm gonna see if she can take a pic of her rings together and send it to my phone so you can see.You absolutely do not sound like a brat! Are you sure you won't regret having your e-ring made into something else? Its very sentimental. Plenty of girls I know only wear their E-rings on special occasions and mainly wear their wedding band.

I will absolute be wearing my e ring once we are married. I adore it and FH spent a lot of money and time to pick the perfect one for me. I would feel awful not wearing it. jmo

I would try to find a ring that would fit. I have a three stone ring too. I havent bought my ring yet but I have tried a couple on and they looked ok!

I would like to find a nice band to go with my e-ring. As far as changing it, I wouldn't because fh spent alot of time getting the ring. And, it has sentimental value.

I totally agree. I will also be wearing both. I cant wait to wear my e-ring and wedding ring. I'll really be bling blinging too lol

i would love to see a pic of that. i want to keep it the way it is and wear it, believe me. I knew i'd come off as ungrateful.

I think that a channel set band would actually like really nice with your e-ring. It's a beautiful ring, I wouldn't touch it. I'm personally going to continue to wear my e-ring, because my band is going to be plain metal, so it will be the only bling I have. Plus FH would be furious if I didn't after the money and time and effort he put into it. I wouldn't do that to him, plus I love my ring, simple solitaire that is it, it's just perfect for me.

i think we will need to take a trip to the jeweler he bought it from and he will make something for me to match it. Ill have to try on some of these channel set ones. I dont really like the idea of wearing the band on the other hand but thats just me.

I now realize it would break his heart if i changed the ring. I couldnt do that to him.
