Will you see the movie United 93?

I think that it opened this week - I know it kicked off the Tribeca Film Festival.

I'm not going to see it. I don't think that we'll ever truly know what happened on that plane.

It did get some good reviews; I almost didn't expect that.

BIG NOPE! why must it be rehashed. No one knows exactly what happened, so why make a movie about it. In poor taste I think.

I am very curious to see it BUT the commercials give me a huge knot in my stomach and make me cry so I am not sure......it makes me think of very unhappy memories

if they money was going to the victims family- maybe

but I hate to say it but I don't believe the spin on what happened on that plane- I will always believe we shot the plane down- it crashed it a field- very close to Camp David and DC- so I don't think they would take that chance

nope. and i won't see the World Trade Center movie coming out this fall either.

JMO

I agree with you regard the money going to the victims families versus some hollywood studio.

My FI also thinks the plane was shot down, but that the gov't could never say they shot down a plane with civilians.

I can't believe it is almost 5 years. I can still remember everything about that day.

No, it sickens me to even see the previews. I see this as Hollywood trivializing and making money off of a horrible sad tragic event. No one knows what happened on that flight. I don't see it as benefiting or honoring anyone. If a loved one of mine had been killed on that flight I would be mad that this was made.
