Our dating and wedding anniversary is one in the same!!

Makes it easier for hubby to remember. We got married on our 5 year anniversary!! 6 years coming up for us on May 11th!!

Debbie, I love that story.
On the anniversary of the day we met, we have dinner and drinks at Okey Dokey, which is where we met and then got engaged. This past January 10th marked 8 years together!

We still do too. We've been together too long not to! This past November marked 8 years for us.

We probably will just because I need another excuse to! My birthday and wedding date are two weeks apart so our anniversay of dating is in the summer which is nice.

We will. Any excuse to go out and celebrate our love is a good reason for me!

Frank and I dont, but that b/c I cant remember the exact date we started dating I know it's in April though. But my girlfriends husband always remebers. They were together for 8 years b4 they were married and have been married for going on 6 years, 2 years ago he bought her a computer, total suprise (She forgot it was there dating anniv), and this past year she had a baby. So that was his gift. But he always remembers, he even knows the day of there first kiss. She always says she married a winner!

Re: Will you still celebrate?

We're still not sure when we actaully 'got together' so we count March as our 'anniversary month' but we've never really celebrated it....

We usually celebrate on the 18th-the anniversary of the day we met

And now we celebrate on the 1st, our x month anniversary since the wedding

We like celebrating!!

Re: Will you still celebrate?

what a timely question...FH and I were just debating that! Our 4-yr dating anniversary is March 26 and we are planning a nice lobster dinner since it will probably be the last time we really celebrate it. Not that we won't acknowledge it, of course, but July 6 will be our NEW BIG DAY after this year.

Re: Will you still celebrate?

Ours just passed....2/26. I just cooked a special dinner and we stayed home. I think going forward we will celebrate and buy gifts for eachother on our wedding anniversary but still do something small & quiet for our dating anniversary.

Um, no, we're mor like yabbobay, after almost 9 years, it's like, hmm, isn't today the day we met or started dating? I always forget anyway. Besides we've had some 'breaks' here and there so there are a couple of different dates.
