Curious to see what everyone else is doing. I doubt that I will (though mom insists that I NEED to!)

I have to. I cannot wear a long line undergarment or bustier or anything of the sort under my dress. The fabric is too soft and my dress is somewhat form fitting. Any bone or seam would show through. The only thing that will smooth out the lines in my midsection is panty hose.

If you want to appease your mom, wear them for the ceremony, take them off for the reception. She probably won't notice, but if she does, just tell her you got a run.

I'm not planning to appease my mother; I just found it humourous that she thought it was necessary

i was thinking of thigh highs. much easier to deal with when having to go to the bathroom and they r much more comfortable. for me anyway

Definitely not! Even if I wasn't getting married at 11:30AM outside in July - I HATE pantyhose (so restrictive, never comfortable)

I was trying on my gown this past summer at home & my gosh, the sweat on my face! And I wasn't wearing hose. So I guess I won't wear hose. (I'm having a summer garden wedding.)
